Summer Break Activites

Hooray! It's summer so what do you do with your children? Like many parents you can not ship them off to boarding school or summer camp in this economy. So you take a deep breath and sigh as you yell for the hundredth time what are y'all doing in there?

Children need activities that are both fun and educational. I have been in education for 14 years now so i consider myself to be quite savvy when it comes to summer activities. I will give you a few ideas to get you started.

Free Bowling- check online for local times and select days.
Free Movies- most theatres have weekly specials that are free or cheap for children.
Museum- many are free, so pack a lunch and make a day of it!
Art Classes- there a some that are offered for free!
